To photograph oneself is both self serving and self sufficient. A unique tool for discovery.We always have ourselves as a subject for consideration. I take self portraits as a way of finding myself in the world. As a way of proving I was here, evidence in the material world-proof undeniable? In a world where our self image is created for us by an over zealous media it seems a small victory for me to take back my own image.
